Dr. Patel was part of a 10 person team that went to Guatemala in Jan 2011 to help provide dental care for underpriveledged children in remote villages. He spent a week performing restorations and educating kids on good oral hygiene.

Dr. Patel volunteers for the HPDA and is currently serving as the Past President of the society which extends into Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville and surrounding communities.
